Hey there.

Welcome to my Blog, and thanks for visiting.

This blog is primarily about finding a great place to vacation or retire.

If you are a loooong way from retirement, do not despair. This blog is still relevant, for two reasons.

1. All the traits of property that affect it’s value as a retirement property also affect it’s value as a vacation property, one way or another.

2. You’ll be here soon enough.  I was your age yesterday. : -)

Ten years to retirement – that’s me.

So… I am a busy real estate entrepreneur, and I run about 20 hours a day, researching property all over the United States. In the process of doing this, I come across a lot of information about the culture, economy, geography, geology, history, natural resources, and people of a particular area.

(I bet there are some people who think it was pret-ty cool that those were alphabetized.)

Many of my clients are trying to find a really great place to retire, and it occurred to me that some of them might be interested in the very information I am working so hard to gather.

In this blog, I intend to share some of the more interesting facts I come across, especially as they relate to retirement and retirement planning. My intent is to pop up a short article every few days. We’ll see how it goes. Thanks for checking out this Blog page.

If you would like to be notified when we post a new blog entry, please sign up for an RSS feed. When I post a new article, I am going to put a link to it on this page.  If you retweet these articles to your friends, I would appreciate it.

Thanks, and Best of Fortune!

Here is an interesting article I came across about the history of upstate South Carolina. Everyone knows about the role the Charleston area played in the Revolutionary war, but are you as familiar with the events that occurred in the upstate at that same time? Click below for a glimpse.
